Sights and Sounds of Sierra Leone’s Missions – Church and Training Institute to Be Built In Pable Community.

Beatrice Pheika, pastors Ropable church. The gospel work means a lot to her.

But all these things that I once thought very worthwhile—now I’ve thrown them all away so that I can put my trust and hope in Christ alone. Philippians 4:7 (TLB)

He thought that it was better to suffer for the promised Christ than to own all the treasures of Egypt, for he was looking forward to the great reward that God would give him. Hebrews 11:26(TLB)

The Love  of Beatrice

Such is the story of Beatrice who labors with the missions team in Sierra Leone.  Beatrice decided that the gospel was worth abandoning the sights and sounds of city life to embrace the echoes of the gospel in the remote unchurched villages of Sierra Leone. Taking the gospel to the unreached was worth staying in a room without ceiling and lying on a bed smaller than her size.

Truly, she has reckoned the suffering of the gospel greater than the riches of the world.

Beatrice’s stays in Pable community where she disciples new converts and evangelizes. She is willing to do this even when it means a room without ceiling and a bed smaller than her.

Support Beatrice and others like her to keep taking the gospel to the unreached.  Your contributions bring joy and warmth to the heart of these gospel workers and those they serve.

Land and Furniture for RoPable Church

The young Ropable church which is being pastored by Beatrice Pheika, just received a piece of land donated to them by the hospitable Ropable community.  Also,  the church will not have to borrow chairs again as she acquired a set of brand new benches.

Plans are underway to build a church house, Pastorage and training Institute in the new land. The expected outcome is that these previously unchurched persons who have now put faith in Christ will have a comfortable place to worship God, a presentable place for the pastor and a training center for raising indigenous workers.

The Panel Church which had borrowed benches in the past will do that no more.  The new benches were made possible by the continued support of Millions for Christ’s partners
The hospitable people of Panel offered MFCM a piece of land free.  Clearing and de-stumping of the land has begun. A church house, Pastorage and a Training Institute will be cited on this property.
